Patrick Gless is associate director of the Healthcare Decision Analysis (M.S.) and Biopharmaceutical Marketing (M.S.) graduate programs and an adjunct professor of pharmaceutical and health economics at the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy and Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics. Mr. Gless has 15 years of healthcare experience specializing in health policy, economics, finance, and drug pricing. He has consulted for numerous healthcare and life sciences companies — including Fortune 100 corporations — on product development and commercialization strategies. He also has advised financial services firms on investments in emerging health technology innovation. Mr. Gless served in the United States Army as a combat medic, including deployments throughout the Horn of Africa and the Middle East in support of the Global War on Terrorism, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also served as a healthcare science attaché to the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq. Mr. Gless is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators and serves on several healthcare advisory boards. He received his M.S. in Healthcare Decision Analysis with a health economics concentration, Master of Health Administration with a finance specialization, and B.S. magna cum laude in Health Policy and Management from the University of Southern California.
