Jeremy Zoch

Jeremy Zoch, PhD, MHA, FACHE has served as the COO at St. Joseph Hospital of Orange (Providence St. Joseph Health) since 2012 and assumed the role of Chief Executive (CEO) in March 2016. Past experiences include working as a Chief Operating Officer at Mercy Hospitals in Bakersfield (Dignity Health) and Senior Administrator roles at Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. He has worked in a variety of roles at many other healthcare facilities including Mayo Health Systems, Good Samaritan, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and Mary-Greely Medical Center. His passion for healthcare started with the opportunity to provide direct care for children with developmental disabilities and as a nursing assistant in a long-term care facility.
He earned his PhD in Health Related Sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Health Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. His dissertation focused on hospitals with physician CEOs. Research interest and passion include employee engagement, patient experience, operations improvement, and leadership.
Jeremy, his wife Jenette, and their two children, Jeannine (13) and Justin (11), live in Orange, CA. He has been actively involved in each community he lives in and is currently serving at St. John’s Lutheran Church and School and on the Board at the United Cerebral Palsy – Orange County. They enjoy family ski trips, wakeboarding, triathlons, days at the beach and traveling to new places such Europe, Thailand, and Peru.
